I had to buy 6 power nodes to max out the damage for my pulse rifle and then I was able to get it. While the chapters have been expanded in some areas and have side-quests and new character moments, the same number of chapters exist.

The final boss at the end is cheap as ****, you have to hit a spot you can't aim at and then you die after fighting it for 10 minutes. There are 12 chapters in total in the Dead Space Remake. (I think this was additional node requirements on each weapon/suit etc.

Whereas from what I recall in the NG+ in the remake still looked like significant time to unlock everything maybe even a full play though again. original still easy but in the original pretty sure you started over and could immediately max out almost everything for those unlocks. Then I'll finish up the rest of the trophies besides impossible and then deicde what to do there. But after whatever I get done tonight it will be on hold for 2 weeks while I play Last of Us Part I, binge the new UHDs of the series, and then Play last of Us Part II. And even if they get to me they don't do any damage lol. I immediately started a NG+ playthrough on story difficulty where I'm going to use only the pulse rifle (there's a trophy for that) and omg this was so much easier.
